Yesterday for P&W we did

All about You
You, You Are God
Holy, Holy, Holy
Come Thou Fount
Your Name

It went well.. this was the first service with a new team... our WL did some switching around of personnel..

Later that day I rehearsed with a different group of musicians for a project we have coming up this Friday.. and we went over

Still standing
Everywhere that I go
Prayers of the righteous
Let the Peace of God Reign
He knows my name
Say the Name
Let it Rise

Our church is really blessed in that we have quite a few musicians who are willing to be led by the spirit. We could probably field at least 3 minimum 5 man praise bands with teams of at least 5 vocalists on each team..

I played for Indiana Wesleyan's chapel on wednesday, 10AM and 11AM.  It was a Worship service, so we played for about 30-40 minutes.  The worship leader is an excellent musician... easily the best pianist I've played with.  He brought a choir of teens that he's been voice training, and also a drummer.  We had four students playing, including myself, on saxophone, cello, and another piano.  I was on bass of course. Smiley

You Are the Hope (An original song by one of the students, went over really well)
From the Inside Out  We did this really differently, but in the same key, so we all knew the song already, but just changed it up.  To open it up we had the cello do this nice riff, doo-doo-doodoodoo...  Stuck in my head!
Lead Me to The Cross "Savior I Come" (it's a rendition that made it soulful and jazz;  it had a first chorus/verse kind of thing that went "Savior I come... G# Savior I come... E.... Savior I come... G#", and we just got to worship for a while.  At the end of the 10 AM service we led out with that song, and a bunch of students stayed after chapel was over to worship with us.
Fearfully and Wonderfully  I think this was an original song by the worship leader.  It was fantastic.  In the middle of the second service, he decided to change the song order (And didn't tell us. Smiley ) so that this was the last song, and we played this after chapel was over too, and students AGAIN stayed after and worshipped.  Never happens!

We play at a Friday night Vespers every week called Second Wind, and tonight the crowd was ALIVE!! I think most of them stood during the whole thing singing and praising God! One lady even thanked God for us during the Praise and Thanks segment. It was a good night.

Our Set;

By Your Side
He Reigns (brought out the galloping bass line for this one)
You Are My King
God of Wonders

Yesterday (1 Aug) our set was:

1.  Mourning into Dancing  (Tommy Walker)
2.  My Redeemer Lives  (Reuben Morgan)
3.  Fields of Grace  (Darrell Evans)
4.  Jesus Lord of Heaven  (Phil Wickham)
5.  Consuming Fire  (Tim Hughes)
6.  Pour Out My Heart  (Craig Musseau)

Our primary worship leader's daughters (Sweetie Pie (18) & Honey Pie (16)) had the oppurtunity to lead the congregation in worship this week.  They are so awesome!  They always like to get the youth moving.   Smiley  Great group of kids they all are!  It's so awesome to see God moving in young people's lives ... it gives me hope for the future.
