What is the newest song youve added to your set list? We added "Never Let Go" Matt Redman. Just looking to add some new stuff. I really like the new Fee "We Shine" cd.

We have just added 7 songs to our repertoire. They Are:
1) You, You Are God
2) Only One For Me
3) The More I Seek You
4) Surrender
5) Your Love
6) Let God Arise
7) Everlasting God
I really havent counted but I believe there is around 80 songs total in our repertoire right now.

Today we played "From the Inside Out" by Hillsong United. Not sure if the band has done it before in the past, but it was my first time.

You are Holy, Michael W Smith

We ran through it one wed night at practice and it came off so well we practiced it the following wednesday and did it that Sunday!

Fastest ever into a service - it just clicked!

Last week, we introduced "Let the Praises Ring" by Lincoln Brewster. Just to help everyone get used to it, we did it again this week too.

Also, this week, we played and sang along with the CD to Hillsong's "Mighty to Save". We will probably be doing that solo now pretty soon.

"When I Survey The Wondrous Cross"

We enjoy playing old hymns in our folk style.  THE blood song of all time. We have a version of it on our CD that is currently being mastered at this time.  Smiley

We are working on "Oh Praise Him" by David Crowder at the moment. My band goes in cycles....we learn a bunch of tunes (rather quickly) but introduce them only one at a time on a weekly basis so the congregation can get used to the tunes. Our band does 4 songs for our service. I would rather do 3 new tunes and 1 oldie once in a while to get the newer songs into rotation. but such is life!
We have a great band.....flexible - minimal ego's, very good musicians and for those who sing, great voices. Plus everyone has a decent sense of humor.
Peace
Al
