Hello!

My name is Daniel - I play guitar and piano for my church worship team and I have recently just picked up Bass. I'm apart of a Charismatic non-denominational church and the worship style leans more towards contemporary. Currently our worship team has 2 bassist(i will be the 3rd.) Fortunately I know/understand music theory from playing other instruments and I find bass quite easy so far. As with anything I want to grow in knowledge and understanding so I can play Bass with excellence.

I'm excited that I found this forum, and I'm looking forward to talking with more Bass players so I can learn!

Hello Daniel,

Welcome to Worship Bass. I am glad that you found us also.

We have another member here which goes by "rfclef" here at WB. His name is Bob and he lives in or around Woodburn Oregon I believe it is. Bob plays bass in a praise and worship band named "Cry Of Stones". If you go to (Cry of Stones) on You Tube you can check them out.

Jong, who owns this web site is working on adding a chat room so hopefully that will be up and running soon. It has been installed but it is not working properly yet.  Roll Eyes

I am looking forward to chatting with you soon Daniel.

Hello Daniel & Welcome to WB -- no, not Warner Bros!   Roll Eyes

You are quite a talented musician!  I'm sure you'll make a great addition to your P&W Ministry.  Praise the Lord for the great gift of music!

Basses do not "gently weep"... they will rattle the walls, lay the foundation, soothe the body and the mind, or bellow in fury as they strike you down with a bat'leth, but they do not "gently weep"...
