He Did This For You

I own 2 MB115s and I must say I think these things are very underrated.  Great sound and delightfully light!  Anybody else own one?

I used GK amps for years. Don't own one right now, but I still love 'em.  Cool

I play through GK gear.  Thier stacks have a low growl sound that I haven't heard out of anything else for the price.  I went to the Christian Music Summit at Overlake here in WA.  Norm Stockton(currently plays with Lincoln Brewster) is sponsored by them and after hearing and getting the chance to play on his rig while I was there, I fell in Love.

Jack - I have an GK MB150E which I bought new retail, the serial number dates it to 94.  I play that only with Acoustic or lower volume gigs.  I plug in a Shroeder mini12L extension cab for small to medium venues.  17 years on that little combo...zero issues.

Then there is my steady Sunday Rig, a GK 400 RB MK IV head to a Schroeder 212L Cab.  Had that 6 years playing weekly, zero issues.

Underated....understated.

Have an MB115 and think it's dynamite.  Use it to practice with and have played a church gig in a separate building than we usually play in through it and it filled a very large room with no problem whatsoever.  Great combo amp.

I just picked up a used MB150E/112 combo amp for $300. I feel like I stole it.  Grin
